Really fat! When fat tires cut through the mud, the SKS mudguard set made of high-performance impact-resistant plastic offers perfect all-round mud protection. It is specially designed for fat bikes and holds back dirt up to a profile width of 141 mm. The front mudguard is simply attached to the downtube with the aid of high-quality rubber straps. The rear mudguard can be mounted on the seat post or the downtube within seconds using the quick-release power strap mounting system. Two points of adjustability also allow the mudguard to be adapted to the geometry of your bike.

I am new to fat biking, and the shop where I bought my fat bike suggested I get studded tires, which was great advice! I’ve ridden several times on snow with hidden ice underneath, and I could hear the studs gripping. I also took out my fat bike on a frozen river and zipped right along on clear ice. That was awesome! So highly recommended for safety and expanding your riding experience.

This tire set up tubeless better than the other brands I run. It is definitely a slower max grip compound. Let go of the brakes and the traction is there when needed. It is predictable and holds the lines. The park I primarily ride eats tires, and these held up well for the days I got last season.

So the rack was in great condition, fast shipping, great rack to use on your fat bike. I’m using mine on a norco 2020 26” fit perfectly. As with all metal racks, you will have to bend the brackets. Not one bike is standard and that’s just the way it is. This one had enough brackets length that it would fit my gravel and my fat bike. Will accommodate 5 inch tires.
